United are ready to bid £35m for Fabregas

As a club  Manchester United are known for never giving up and it seems this has spilled over into our transfer activity.

Having had 2 bids rejected already, it appears David Moyes is preparing yet another bid for Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas. It emerged this afternoon that United had seen their £30m + add ons bid rejected with a source claiming that Barca president Sandro Rosell told United in no uncertain terms that the player is not for sale.

But it appears either this was false or Moyes and Woodward are gluttons for punishment as a number of media outlets are reporting that we are preparing £35m bid for Fabregas.

The bid would break United’s club transfer record as well as match the supposed figure Barca were looking for in order to sell the player. But if Rosell has said he isn’t for sale, what’s the point?

And at what point is enough, enough?

Just give up and bid £60m for Bale. If we’ve supposedly “got the money to buy big” then why not.

Just a suggestion but why don’t utd go for de rossi? He’s solid defensively, has a great long ball, would add some serious steel which is lacking from the utd midfield and has a knack for supplying a great killer ball quite often.I know he’s nearly 30 but he would do well for the next 3 years while powell is developing. Also he would cost around £20-25 million. We would need to be quick of the mark as chelsea are apparantley interested aswell

We shouldn’t bother..we’re not gonna get him. Sadly it is time to turn our attention elsewhere.

We Should go for Marek Hamsik, Fellaini and Cabaye. If we have got the money that would sort our midfield out.

Maybe I’m just living in hope, but why would they go in with another bid without any encouragement? Surely if they were giving a flat no, they would just leave it? Moyes keeps saying that rooneys not for sale but as we all know, it’s looking more likely he’ll be gone soon. Could be just trying to drive his value up. Hoping this is the case with Cesc!
