Wilfried Zaha celebrates his equaliser against Cerezo Osaka

David Moyes has praised Wilfried Zaha, stating he is one of United’s players that can change a game after the youngster came off the bench to earn United a draw against Cerezo Osaka.

United trailed their host in the 90th minute before Zaha levelled things up and prior to that wowed the crowd with some sublime play including a jinking run into the opposition’s box, confounding two defenders before shooting wide.

Zaha has been one of United’s strongest performers in our four pre season games, and whilst Moyes was uncertain about the attacker, claiming he would use pre season to assess him, he has now forced his way into Moyes’ first team plans for the season.

Zaha’s first United goal spared United’s blushes and Moyes feels he has done well on the tour so far, easing his way into the side and preparing himself for the season ahead.

Speaking to ManUtd.Com, the manager said:

“Wilfried has done well.

“He’s done well in the games. He’s quite quiet and still getting to know everybody. I think he’s performed well. He’s had an impact in the games. We just want to try and bring him along nicely.

“I think tonight will help him. He’s showed players he can make things happen.

At Manchester United we want all players to score goals and he’s come up with an important goal in the last minute.”
