Nani’s move to Monaco may finally be set to go ahead after the French club’s sporting director confirmed that he is a player that they are interested in.
Although it appeared that Nani, who has a year left on current United deal, would snub the big spending French club in favour of a move to Galatasaray, that failed to materialise when United and the Turkish outfit could not come to an agreement on a fee.
Now Vadim Vasilyev has claimed that Nani was offered to the Ligue 1 new boys and it is a transfer that they could possibly entertain towards the end of the transfer window as he told L’Equipe:
“He has been proposed to us . He is a very good player, but there have been no talks so far.
“We have already changed our group quite a bit and we also want to offer opportunities to our young players.
“We still have time to make a few alterations before the end of the transfer window, if needed.”
