Manchester United are set to turn their attention to Real Madrid’s Luka Modric after failing to sign Cesc Fabregas according to The Times.
United’s very public pursuit of Fabregas looks to have come to an end after Barcelona again turned down United’s advances. Gerardo Martino confirmed on Friday that he would not sanction the sale of Fabregas to United, and today Sport claimed that Fabregas has never been interested in a move to United despite reports to the contrary in the media.
With Cesc a no go The Times claim United will now move for Luka Modric, in an attempt to bring in someone with a star name. Whilst still interested in Cesc, The Times claim Modric is a more viable target and that United are ready to bid £25m .
Why would moyes come out and say we’re chasing fabregas!? There was always a very good chance he wouldnt come and now we look desperate. Moyes and Ed Woodward seem completley clueless tbh, we seem to be aimlessly chasing players. He should go for cabaye and fellaini as they will prove much more straightforward deals. If we dont strengthen our midfield then we’re in big trouble.

Moyes needs 2 bring in a strong central defender ready 4 all competitions. gundogan de rossi 4 our midfield and lewandowski and I c us tearing apart any team we play team will fear us again and we will surely win the double and maybe the seson after go 1 betta and get the treble so moyes if u want 2 set a mark at united this is exactly how u do it u say u have a unlimited budget go 4 players and we will win everything!!!!!!!!
Gundogan is literally the exact midfielder we need, I honestly think the last top quality centre mid we bought was Roy Keane and that was in 1993!! De rossi would be great. We have no one whos going to pick the ball up from midfield and drive with the ball. But on the 31st of August when we’ve signed no one moyes will say “we have alot of strength in depth in midfield” which is obviously bollocks.
moyes is wastin tym by biding more money on fabregas bcoz he is not interested, other dan putin interest in players lik, cabaye nd fellaini nd others dat, ar interested. but if moyes did not by any player to add de squad, nothing for us dis season bcoz he cant manage de squad, it is only ferguson dat can do it.
