Manchester United beat Man City in the finals of the Lancashire Cup to complete the treble 2 seasons in a row.

Goals from Petrucci and Lingard cancelled out Alex Tchumeni-Nimely opener to see United retain the cup. With things level as the game reached it’s conclusion, Jesse Lingard was felled in the box but picked himself up to score the penalty, further enhancing his reputation after starring in the first team’s tour of Asia and Australia.

Isn’t it better to go down standing than win on your knees? Begging Roon to stay is this symbolic. United will stand, with him or without! Did OT shutdown when CR7 left? Nay! Let him go. We will grow and fully wring out any juicy in these youngstars!
