Fellaini vs Norwich

This morning we reported on United’s failed £28m bid to sign Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines, a move that is said to have angered Everton who considered the double bid offensively off the mark.

Here is a photo of the letter that Everton’s Deputy Chairman John Woods is said to have sent to Ed Woodward in response to the bid, clearly outlining the Merseyside club’s stance:

It’s authenticity is yet to be confirmed but if real, Everton do not expect United to return with further bids for the player.

I think the hierarchy at Everton can spell the word letter (it certainly isn’t “leter”)

The grammar is pretty appalling too. Actually, it’s probably real (I’m an Everton fan, btw) …

I don’t want fellani – his attitude when playing for everton whilst trying to manoeuvre a move to chelsea was disgusting – it was so bad he was booed off and as a neutral it was obvious to me he wasn’t even trying during the game – something that i cannot level at rooney – i do not want a player like fellani for that reason.
Rooney should know that the too biggest domestic clubs in terms of support remain utd and Liverpool and they have been way behind in the league for years and i think this is likely to continue for the foreseeable.
Jose may have intimated he may suffer if he stays at utd in terms of his world cup chances – this is rubbish as we are not blessed with a vast array of quality strikers.
What gauls me about rooney is that he was upset /disappointed with the way fergie alleged he was looking to get out by asking for a transfer. He has a short memory as he upset utd fans when he tried to wangle a way to city a couple of years back. He should keep his head down, carry on working as he is, sack his agent and reap the rewards in terms of silverware, and regaining the trust and faith of the fans many of whom graft hours on end to support the team and would give their right arm, wife and possibly even kids to be in his position. Fellani no way. I quite like Baines tho but real need is a keano type centre midfielder.

FAKE. Apart from the terrible spelling and grammar mistakes, does anybody really think that Woodward or his secretary would leak this?? I sincerely think not…
