Shinji Kagawa continued to impress on international duty, with a goal against Ghana in Japan’s 3-1 win over the African nation.

After an assist against Guatemala, Kagawa grabbed a goal firing past the helpless keeper to draw Japan level after the break.

After the game Kagawa was reported as voicing his displeasure at being left out of the United squad, saying:

“Please ask David Moyes why I’m not in the side.

“It is frustrating not playing but to score a goal like that gives me confidence. Hopefully I can take that back to my club with me and things will improve.”

Unless i am mistaken, David Moyes seems to favour players with big builds, big
powerful footballers who can force their way through opposition defences, hence
his rejection of Thiago Alcantara as a player He thought could not cut it in the
premier league, and his seemingly reluctance to play Shinji Kagawa this season,
long gone are the days when a football weighed as much as a turnip, and boots were
more suited to mountain climbing than gliding around a football pitch, and players
like Stanly Mathews Bobby Moore and Duncan Edwards could dazzle the opposition
with their brilliance, it seems strange that i disagree with David Moyes managerial
skills, but having been alive for far longer than he has been involved in football i
feel gives us older supporters a a little insight in to the game, Barcelona have proved
this with Messie, Neymer, and to name a few in the premier League Silva, Mata and
without doubt one of the greatest Ryan Giggs non of whom were huge physical
specimens, but wonderful talented footballers, who could play with the ball seemingly
on a string, Perhaps David Moyes reluctance to use or buy players he thinks can not
stand up to the physical side of the Premier league is a reflection of his success at
Everton, when having coached for eleven years had mediocre results whilst at the
same time doing a very good job. without doubt there is a place for Shinji Kagawa,
and he must be used to benefit from his skills, because we are not Everton
    David WE ARE MANCHESTER UNITED.
