De Gea Save Real Madrid

Constantly linked with a return to Spain, Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is set to disappoint Barcelona and Real Madrid after declaring himself happy in Manchester.

Both teams are having keeper problems with Barcelona’s Victor Valdes set to leave the Nou Camp, whilst Real Madrid stalwart Iker Casillas has fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu.

David De Gea has steadily improved since joining United and is biding his time before taking over the number 1 shirt for the Spanish national team. Both of Spain’s big two have recognised the 22 year old’s talent, and are hoping to bring him back to Spain but according to AS the goalkeeper isn’t interested.

After keeping a clean sheet in United’s Champions League win over Real Sociedad, when asked about his future De Gea told the Spanish paper:

“I’m very happy here at United, everyone’s looking after me, treating me well. I’m not thinking of moving anywhere else.”
