David Moyes will return to Real Madrid, this time hoping to successfully sign German international Sami Khedira as well as Argentine Angel Di Maria.

Khedira was the subject of a late bid from United during the summer but having agreed to sell Mesut Ozil to Arsenal and with an injury to Xabi Alonso, it would have been suicide to let Khedira go.

But with Khedira’s recent outburst in Kicker, his future at the Bernabeu has been left in doubt. Khedira told the German magazine, “Even if I play well, I am the scapegoat and so will not be properly valued.” And with this mentality, it is thought that Khedira already sees his future away from Madrid.

The Daily Sport reports that Moyes dispatched coach Phil Neville to watch Khedira during Real’s 7-3 win over Sevilla last week, and another player he could have been monitoring is winger Angel Di Maria who made a brief cameo against the Andalucian side.

The Argentine’s future has been in doubt since the arrival of Gareth Bale and whilst many expected the 25 year old to leave this summer, Di Maria remained in Madrid. Di Maria has been able to maintain a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s side, but Madrid’s willingness to let him go previously leads United to believe that they may succeed with a move for him.

This week Ashley Young has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, at the center of another diving row and some media source believe that David Moyes has had enough of the England international so a move for Di Maria would make sense.
