Wilfried Zaha’s future lies at Old Trafford, at least in the short term, after David Moyes revealed that there had been no approaches for the winger.

Zaha, Sir Alex Ferguson’s final signing at the helm of Manchester United, has struggled for playing time under new boss David Moyes leading to speculation that Moyes would allow him to leave on loan.

News of interest from the likes of Newcastle, West Brom and Everton have all filled column inches in papers but Moyes told MUTV that there have been no approaches for the 21 year old ahead of January’s transfer window:

“I did say to Wilf if I didn’t feel he was getting enough games, I would consider it.

“Obviously if we’ve got injuries or other reasons, I wouldn’t take it on board.

“But the truth is we haven’t had anybody phoning up and wanting to do that it the moment.

“While it’s like that, I am fine.”

Saying that he would consider the idea if Zaha wasn’t getting enough games leads you to believe that Zaha could be on his way in January. Having played some part in United’s last two league games, both appearances were cameos off the bench, and he has made just 4 appearances since his £12.5m move from Crystal Palace.
