Coentrao

Manchester United are set to sign Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrão according to reports in Spain.

The Guardian’s Jamie Jackson confirmed earlier today that the Portuguese left back had agreed to join Manchester United after being frozen out at the Bernabeu.

But whilst Jackson claimed that the move would not take place due to Real Madrid’s reluctance to sell after manager Carlo Ancelotti said:

“There is nothing new regarding that. No players are leaving and we’re not going to sign anyone. The window is closed for us.”

Reports in Spain to the contrary have emerged.

Joaquin Maroto, a correspondent from Spanish paper AS and former director of communications at Real Madrid has claimed that Coentrao will be heading to Manchester.

Maroto later claimed that the fee would be 12m with add ons but interestingly has today been tweeting links to articles claiming that United’s move for Coentrao was doomed to fail.

With United’s departure from the FA Cup at the 3rd round stage the latest in a long list of mishaps this season, it is believed that manager David Moyes has stressed the importance of getting new faces in and with Coentrao’s situation at Real Madrid and Moyes’ insistence on getting a new left back in, the 25 year old seems the ideal candidate.

For sunderland match hope he used a good line-up like 4-3-3.
    Degea
    fabio,vidic,evans,buttner
    fletcher,carrick,anderson
    zaha,chicharito,kagawa

    lingard,macheda,januzaj come in second half.
United should only concentrate on collective played. Don’t searched striker so that he score goals for us to win the match. That wat they did in swansea match.
