Manchester United right back Guillermo Varela is set to join Torino for the rest of the season according to The Daily Mail.
The 20 year old joined United in the summer from Penarol and has since proved himself an exciting talent in Warren Joyce’s u21 side.
More recently Varela returned to Uruguay to be with his parents after they were hurt in a car crash but now, back in Manchester, he may be loaned out with the prospect of first team football an enticing one for United as they look to bring him along.
Having been linked with Boca Juniors previously, it appears Italy will be Varela’s destination with the 6th place Turin side keen to take him in.
Whether he will be available to play against AC Milan this weekend, if the deal goes ahead, remains to be seen.
