An advisor for Nemanja Vidic has confirmed that ‘just details’ are holding up the Serbian’s move to Inter Milan.
Yesterday Inter Milan owner Erick Thohir confirmed that a deal for the defender was 90% from being completed, after the 32 year old confirmed that he would be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season.
And today Silvano Marina, a representative for Vidic’s, affirmed this telling TuttoInternazionale:
“The President spoke yesterday, so I don’t think there’s any need for me to add more. I can confirm what he said. I think we’re just missing some details – the little things.
“The lad likes the club. Who doesn’t like Inter? They’re a huge club all over the world.
“Inter’s history is comparable to that of Manchester United and Barcelona. [Nemanja] likes them a lot.”
Vidic joined United in 2006 from Spartak Moscow and succeeded Gary Neville as club captain. In his 8 year stay at the club, the center back formed a formidable partnership with Rio Ferdinand with the pair winning a number of league titles as well as the Champions League in 2008.
