Agent Francois Gallardo has put Europe on alert after claiming that Bayern Munich defender Dante will leave Germany this summer.
United were heavily linked with the Brazilian center back in January but no move materialised, leading some to believe that it was merely posturing to get the 30 year old a better deal at the Bavarian club.
But Gallardo claims that the Brazilian will in fact be leaving this summer, although United face fierce competition from Real Madrid who are looking to strengthen at the back.
Speaking to El Chiringuito de jugones, Gallardo said:
“Dante is a central to a very top, is competitive and has experience. But the problem will obviously be negotiating with Bayern Munich as the player is the ‘second to none’ out there.
“He is number one on Real Madrid’s list.”
Moyes has frequently been spotted watching Bayern Munich this season, with a number of Pep Guardiola’s stars on his radar. Already linked with a move for Toni Kroos, will the Scot attempt to move for Dante too?
And if he does, will he be able to beat Real Madrid to the Brazilian’s signature?
