Launched last year to helps kids aged from 9-13 achieve their dreams of making it as a footballer, the Dream The Blues campaign saw kids from 8 cities in 7 countries spanning 3 continents taught the game’s finer points by coaches from Chelsea’s academy including first touch, passing, dribbling and shooting.
Ten of the best kids from the camps were selected to travel to England for further training with Chelsea but were also treated to Chelsea’s final game of the season, a 2-1 win over Everton, as well as a stadium tour and the chance to see the sights.
But this year it’s even bigger!
With over 5000 kids benefitting since Samsung joined Chelsea’s grassroots football programme already in 2007, this year’s Dream The Blues campaign sees the West London club set up camps in China, Vietnam and Colombia and with the programme getting bigger so will the prizes!
This year the most passionate kids from each of the 3 camps will again get the chance to head to London, but this time they will be invited to train with Chelsea superstars like Eden Hazard and Fernando Torres!
This is really a once in a life time opportunity so To get involved check out the YouTube Channel and website for more info.
