Roy Keane Manchester United v Liverpool

Having left Manchester United under a dark cloud, Roy Keane has confirmed he will not be returning as part of Louis Van Gaal’s coaching set up.

After leaving United by mutual consent in 2005 following his explosove interview iwth MUTV, Keane has frequently found himself at odds with United. Most recently he slated the players for the part they played in David Moyes getting sacked.

Currently the Republic of Ireland’s assistant manager, Keane insists he is happy in his current role and has no plans to leave.

Speaking to Today FM, the former United skipper said:

“People keep asking me about other jobs. I’ve got a job. I’m very happy in my job.

“Whatever is going on at certain clubs is really none of my business. I’ve been a manager before, I look at David Moyes and I don’t like what happened to him but regarding other issues is none of my business and it doesn’t keep me awake at night.”
