Anderson & Hernandez celebrate United's second

Louis Van Gaal is willing to let a number of Manchester United stars leave this summer if suitable offers come in claims The Telegraph.

A number of players future’s are up in the air and with no manager Louis Van Gaal coming in, will seek clarification.

Last week it was claimed that the Dutchman had made it clear to Ed Woodward the players he deems surplus to requirements at his United but the Telegraph have clarified and updated this list which includes Javier Hernandez, Wilfried Zaha and last summer signing Marouane Fellaini.

Mark Ogden writes:

Wilfried Zaha, who spent the final six months of last season on loan at Cardiff, is likely to travel on the pre-season tour of the United States, but the 21-year-old is another who could be sold this summer.

Nani, Tom Cleverley and Javier Hernández are the subject of interest from elsewhere, while Ashley Young and Marouane Fellaini may also prove expendable should offers be made from rival clubs.

Ogden also claims that United will assess Anderson when he returns to pre season after a disappointing spell at Fiorentina.

It was thought that the Brazilian would make his move to Florence permanent but they rejected the chance after he failed to impress in his 8 appearances in Italy:

Louis van Gaal could be forced to resolve the future of Manchester United outcast Anderson with the midfielder failing to earn a permanent transfer to Fiorentina following an unproductive loan spell in Italy… United had hoped to sell him to the Italian outfit following his failure to justify the transfer fee sanctioned by Sir Alex Ferguson to complete the Brazilian’s move seven years ago.

But with La Viola securing Europa League qualification with a fourth-placed Serie A finish largely without the contribution of the 26-year-old, United are now understood to be focusing on other options with the player. Anderson’s future is one of the issues to be discussed by recently-appointed manager Van Gaal and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

Fellaini is a total flop at united and his play is terrible, he continues punching players from opposite teams with his elbow and his departure would be good riddance to the club. He can shine elsewhere may be but not at Old Trafford.

    • Mint Vittaya says:

You can’t sell Fellaini because nobody wants to buy him, so give him away or chile on him.

    • will says:

you are rig thin part but the media never tell the whole truth. MANCHESTER UNITED is a wonderful club, but, how many EXELENT PLAYERS get INJURED A Manchester U.? they are good in other teams but they fail in developing a good performance, get injured, forgotten, and sometimes, emotionally miserable. Why, I don’t know but this is a fact. something else than blame players need to be done in Manchester U. many players can’t be wrong at the same time in a team that pays good, it is a mystery, but not even the owners know the root of the problem, or the solution.

In as much LVG needs to show the door to the underperforming player or those that are not Man utd class,I strongly believe that someone like Zaha needs to be given another chance.I think he is a massive talent, one of our few players with the pace, and trickery to go past defenders.I certainly will hate seeing him doing it in an Arsenal, chelsea,or Liverfool shirt.

  3. Adyang Jimmy says:

I still have strong hope on zhaa, nani, chicarito and even Anderson that their roles will still be required at utd, they needed time and regularity on the pitch that would make them gain and come to their best as to fit the team standard.

  4. Pankaj Saini says:

I agree with Kulee. We never did get much of a chance to see Zaha and we do need pace on the wings. He is certainly one player capable of giving us that pace. It would be a shame to see him leave without getting a decent run-in. (Not to mention that we do need an English backbone to the side.)

Anderson, Young, Buttner should almost certainly be shown the door.
Nani is perhaps our most talented and most frustrating player of all and I do admit that even though I really like watching him play (when he does play, instead of merely participating), perhaps time has come for him to leave.
Cleverley… well, again, our academy product and I really hate to see them leave. Besides, Moyes’ tactics were the exact opposite of what brings out the best in Clevers. I for one wouldn’t mind him being given another chance under the tutelage of LvG, especially given we don’t really have much of a backup in the engine room.
Fellaini – I remain divided. I have watched him play for Belgium and he does a lot of things that we need in the midfield. He was atrocious last season. But wouldn’t giving him another season make more sense than writing off those 27M? We seem to be writing off so much money these days (sure, Glazers do that all the time through the debt they unleashed on us) 🙁

selling maruone fellaini is a good idea but i believe in chicharito, nani and zaha so much and wont like to see them leave old trafford this summer and i also think LVG is trying to be bias and wants to cause division in old trafford. He wants to offload our good players and bring in many German and dutch players forgetting that man u is an England team
I am not against him buying good German or dutch players for the club but not selling our good upcoming stars.

Hernandez is a good player who was greatly mismanaged by David Moyes. Give hhim another year or he will come back to bite them (no Soirez ref intended)

  6. Fidelis E. says:

You can sell Anderson and Fellaini they are complete flops, Pls don’t sell Hernandez. Chicharito is a good player who was miss used by Moyes. We need quality midfielders and Defenders.

  7. Ahiaba says:

Pls sell fellaini, let him go with the man that brought him.

  8. joshua says:

Fellaini wasn’t really tried enough. He was the scape goat for a poor mu last season.

  9. Akash says:
