Having joined from Royal Antwerp in 2010, midfielder Charni Ekangamene called time on his spell at Manchester United yesterday after joining Belgian side ZulteĀ Waregem.

The 20 year old had flirted with a place in the first team last season, given a squad number and selected as part of the travelling part as United faced Aston Villa in December.

Having spent time out on loan at Carlisle, Ekangamene returned to Old Trafford with his last action playing in the u21 Premier League final loss to Chelsea.

With his contract expiring in June it appears that United opted not to renew his deal freeing him to return to Belgium, joining Zulte on a 4 year deal.
