Man United newbie has unusual fan

It was great to finally see Falcao get his first goal for the club at the weekend.

And it has since been revealed that he is inspired by his pet parrot, who has been trained to say things like “Gola Falcao” and “goal from Falcao!”

It’s a pretty weird story that has been printed in the Sun recently – a clear sign that it’s an international break – but one that will hopefully inspire the Colombian to score even more now that he’s off the mark.

Let’s hope we’ll be hearing of Falcao’s parrot shouting from the roof tops a lot more between now and May…
