This year marked the 53rd anniversary of the Munich air disaster.
Documentaries and dramatisations from the BBC on the crash and the career of Sir Bobby Charlton have done well to inform the public of the event that helped shape the history of this club.
And further to these, here we have a documentary to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the crash. With accounts from former team-mates, friends and relatives recalling manager Sir Matt Busby’s two-time Championship-winning side.
