Having been awarded a shiny new contract yesterday, it’s only right we herald our other Portuguese winger.

At the start of the season he was his usual up and down self and some even thought he would be shown the door for comments he made about Sir Alex to Portuguese media but upon returning from injury in mid January it appears that he realised what he needed to do to make it at Old Trafford. And apart from the red card against Aston Villa in February, has been doing just that.

This video highlights just some of his best moments from this season although we hope that wen a full version is made at the end of the season, it will including him lifting some silverware.

Well you can add the assist for Berbatov’s 2nd to this, flippin’ hell!
I was impressed with him today, what a way to celebrate the new contract eh?

whoever edited this video needs some lessons in sports video editing..can’t even see any highlights…WTF!?

  3. RedDevil says:

You can add his other assist also

Brilliant game today… he created everything… Valencia creates very little and it worries me…

  5. United4one says:

Holy moly he played a blinder today. Congrats Nani, you earned it son!

  6. Jamie Allen says:

TNT..Other than Rooney, Valencia has been arguably are best player. Yes today wasn’t his best game and Nani took the limelight, but check his recent performances e.g Carling cup final, Liverpool etc. His final ball is the best in United’s team – How many goals for Rooney has he set up this year? Don’t think we are watching the same player here mate lol.

Nani is a very good player…has the potential to be a great player..under the guidance of sir alex..i am sure he will be…needs a bit more time and consistent run of games..recently he has been proving a lot of his critics wrong..and with consistent run of games under his belt..he is starting to shine..just look at his skill yesterday…beautifully executed pass for berba and gibson…Excellent piece of wing play..Nani on the left and valencia on the right..i can’t be any happier…:-)

By the way..what is the name of the song/music in the video…and by whom? Please can anyone let me know

@Jamie Allen – I can only agree with you on Valencia’s defensive work which has been good. His attacking prowess apart from a few games mate has not been ALL THAT. You should take another look at Nani’s assists, especially in CL because his excellent balls into the box meant we got 3 points instead of a draw against CSKA Moscow, Besikatas and Wolfsburg away games. You should also know who opposition defenders FEAR most, because it is Nani and NOT Valencia who is invariably double marked. Also Nani is played OUT of his normal best position, whereas Valencia isn’t.

I’m with Jamie I think Valencia has been one of our better players this season, he is unashamedly 1 footed but his crossing is ridiculously good and the service he provides Wayne is top notch. His impact against Milan in the first leg of the CL speaks for the quality he posseses.

So glad that Nani finally started to prove his worth in teh second half of the season – hope he does well for Portugal too 🙂
