Over the last few months, we at the Busby Way have looked at the rumours regarding possible signings coming to Old Trafford this summer.
The likes of David Silva, Joe Cole and Karim Benzema have all been mentioned amongst others.
Fergie has already spent £20m on young players this year. Chris Smalling cost us £10m, Mame Biram Diouf was £4m and lately the Mexican Javier Hernández was more than £6m – clearly Sir Alex is looking to the future with these young purchases.
The Busby Way now want you to post your comments and views on which players, if any, you think the Gaffer needs to bring in to strengthen the squad ready for the pursuit of more success next season.
Personally I think we need 1 creative midfielder and 1 defensive midfielder, choices for creative would be Van Der Vaart, Diego or Cole and for defensive would be Toure or Diarra. If we had to go for a striker I think Dzeko would be the best choice but Fabiano has always said he would love to play for us and I like to hear that from a proven world class player. I would also like to see us get De Gea to replace Van Der Sar when he leaves. Any of these signings would please me, what do you think about these choices? We do have some real talent coming up through our reserves!!!
