I mean a man as up right as Gerrard would never dive would he? And such is his influence it has rubbed off on other Liverpool players with Fernando Torres saying,
“Moreover, it’s your own team-mates like Steven Gerrard who don’t like you using those tricks.”
So refreshing to hear such things in today’s game… I think I’ll just leave this here then:

Typical scouser, agreed the heel was clipped, but any normal person would gave bounced back up, what a girl… Hope he stays at Liverpool, he’s the scouse darren anderton…
I even doubt he would’ve fallen in the first place. Take a look and you’ll see he has another step at complete balance after the (minimal) contact.
A sure fire way to know it’s a dive is when a player bends both knees in midair and has their arms above them. I have yet to see someone do this instinctively in real life which is normal considering those actions are unnatural if you’re truly falling to the ground.
