The club have confirmed the signing of 20 year old striker Bebe from Vitoria de Guimaraes for reported fee of £7.4m.
Bebe or Tiago Manuel Dias Correia as his passport says is described as fast, technically gifted striker, right-footed and strong in the air, measuring 6ft 2ins and comes recommended by former number 2 Carlos Queiroz.
Bebe apparently signed with Vitoria de Guimaraes just FIVE weeks ago on a free and has now made the jump to United. Add to this Real Madrid were also interested in him and you get the picture of a very very highly rated youngster.

Another unknown striker…very odd, but many said the same thing mere months ago about Chicharito. I trust he must show a degree of talent that they just couldn’t turn down inspite of our lack of depth and youth in the same position. The guy’s background story is interesting though.
At this rate, Owen may be enjoying his last season with us unless he really turns back the clock.
Supposedly there was interest from Real so he may well be a decent player but the signing is still quite odd
