I’d agree Smalling was easily one of our best and shows many qualities which give a United fan good cause for optimism.
Bebe, well it was 20 minutes, but the guy certainly looks to have a lot of natural ability and just crazy physical ability. I’m still looking to see him a full 90.
Anderson also looked quite good, and in light of it being his first real competitive match in months, I’d say he’s on the right track. I still love his movement on the ball and his strength and dexterity are a unique combination.
Park frustrated the hell out of me and was really poor for someone who is a Senior member of the squad. I felt the same way for awhile last season, but he turned around after a few months. I just hope it doesn’t take him till Christmas time to stop playing with a square foot and get in the rhythm again.
Kuszczak was fantastic, solid, the match hero with 10 vital saves and again proved it is his destiny to be utd number1, world class…Anderson was good, a nice 90mins in his comeback from injury and well worked…Owen was fantastic as to Smalling who was a rock…Bebe looks impressive, quick and great footwork, always looking beat his man and will be a threat…Great goal by Gibbo who got a good goal.
I really believe that smalling will go a long way..Good physique,great technique,excellent pace and passing.. The rio comparisons are so very apt..
