Humberto Suazo has popped up as a United target yet again, personally I’m not sure why as Rooney has just signed his new deal and Hernandez is on fire.

He is a decent striker though but at 29 doesn’t have the resale value that we usually look for in signings and not sure what kind of fee he will command.

His attitude is well documented as he has been known to be quite a problem and appearance wise he may not look like an archetypal footballer unless were including the Sunday pub teams but this isn’t a beauty pageant and weighing him up on what I like from my strikers – goals he is a decent shout.

Seriously? This guy’s at the tail end of his prime and has never really done anything special. Maybe if we had some type of injury crisis up front, otherwise he seems more like an Everton-type target.
On the upside, he could increase our advertising revenue if we tied him in with a product placement with Mr. Clean.

This one is a shock to me, we can do so much better. I’m voting no!

All right, so he’s 29 and built like a Dacshund. I’ve seen this guy play a lot and find him very impressive. Suazo is a fine technical footballer. He has superb ball control, absorbs physical stick well, a ruthless ability to execute in the box and will only cost £10-12M. Macheda would the one to lose out, but if Ferguson had the choice to make between Suazo, Rooney, Chicharito and Berbatov, it would be his best strike force since Cole, Yorke, Solskjaer and Teddy Boy. There are never any guarantees, but this guy is a winner! Yes, he’s ‘volatile’, but so was RVN and I never heard any complaints about him until her fell out with the Gaffer.

he plays for my team monterrey in mexico.for those who say nay heres some facts.in 2006 he scored 17 goals in national and international games, surpassing peter crouch and luis fabiano by 1 goal for the worlds top scorer award.in 2007 he was awarded silver football as worlds second first league top scorer with 34 only behind klass jan huntelaar from ajax with 35.in 2010 finished first as top scorer of the 2010 fifa world cup qualification with 11 goals. 3 goals on brasil in 2 games its a fuk yay

This is the Man if you want is goals. Don’t be fooled by his physique. He plays like a lion and has more heart inside the field than anyone else I know: A true leader. It’s true, he is 29; but has a good 5 to 6 years ahead of him. Chicharito? Please! He is just another opportunist. Suazo is a creator and a true finisher. I am voting yes.

I dont think we need any more strikers. Even if Rooney had left I think we were covered. Hernandez is making sharp progress and if we can get some more appearances out of Owen and Kiko continues to develop I think we have a strong group of strikers.
If you also include Wellbeck, Josh King, Will Keane and John Cofie I dont see any need to bring anyone else in.
If you also think that we quite often play 4-3-3 then you can factor in Bebe and Obertan as well.
What we really need is a midfielder, or two

  9. Konark says:

Only strikers i would want right now is Luis Suarez or Pato, that too if we do sell Rooney in summer
