but for some reason Ryan Giggs just sounds better.

Originally named Ryan Wilson, Giggs chose to take his mother’s name and the rest is history. A tremendous player even at this stage in his career, he is a credit not only to the team but also the Club as a whole and his country Wales.

The club’s record appearance holder with a plethora of trophies and personal accolades to go with these, we can only wonder how much more he would have achieved had he not been plagued with those hamstring injuries throughout his career. Giggs is a model professional and continues to set an example to the younger players in the team and only recently Nani gushed about Giggs and the impact he has had on him.

So today as he turns 37 we celebrate his career at the club, his achievements and him as a person.

Happy Birthday Ryan Giggs!
