Hull City have again added to their United contingent by signing Corry Evans on loan for 6 months.
The Tigers have already taken Cameron Stewart on loan and recently signed James Chester on a permanent basis so there are familiar faces to ease the younger Evans’ brother adaptation to his new surrounding as he tries to pick up vital first team experience.
Evans has already been on loan at Carlisle this season (again with Chester) but injury curtailed his progress there so he will hope to benefit from this move much more.
The reserve team captain who has yet to play for the first team has made a number of appearances for Northern Ireland and scored their winner against Slovenia in a Euro 2012 qualifier last September.
Evans is able to play at the back and in midfield and hopefully his versatility will make his breaking into the first team easier.
After older brother Jonny made a name with a similar loan move to Sunderland early in his career, hopefully this can be the making of Corry to and we will see him return to the club ready to step into the first team.
hope he gets some games…see what he can do!
how do you guys rate him in comparison to say matty james??
I like him, he has something about him and would prefer to see him in midfield. He can pass and gets forward well.
Played pretty well against Bolton last night
