This was always going to be a hard game but to have lost is quite a sickener.

I can sit here and complain about how much of a bad job I think Atkinson did or the fact this is the third time in a row that we have got a rough deal against Chelsea but to an extent this was of our own doing.

We allowed Chelsea to get back into the game after the break and as soon as Scholes tired we found ourselves at their will as they pressed on.

Losing was bad but the fact Vidic will be out of Sunday’s game and Sir Alex has confirmed that Rio will also miss the game leaves us in somewhat of a perilous position.

No time to mope though have to look towards Sunday and how we will overcome Liverpool at Anfield.

Sickening. Softest red card u will ever see along with an awfuk referee. Our shortcomings where obvious, but at the end of the day we were beaten by the ref and vid out of the game against the scum. Fuming doesnt do my mood justice.

    haahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahah.

Credit to Chelsea for getting back in the game, but what a crime for Luiz to be allowed to remain in the game. No doubt he’s talented, yet he was reckless and the ref overlooked it and the post game commentators offered nothing but praise in spite of the fact that if he were judged correctly, he would’ve left his team down to 10.
And Lord, how many times was Nani fouled without getting any calls?

Like saf said with refs like these, chelsea can always be in the title race..Personally i feel that if atkinson is charted again for this fixture next year, then lets not even bother going there..There’s simply no point..

fuck me i didnt talk for 2 hours after the game. Just a ton of terrible calls throughout the match from atkinson from beginning to end. Even right before the vidic 2nd card in the corner there was a chelsea foul i noticed that didnt get called.. Rooney and Nani consistently fouled with no call. the luiz foul on rooney was terrible. i just dont know how the fuck it was possible to be that terrible. i know i sound like a whiny arsenal fan, but that was just ridiculous… THAT SAID, we sat back in the 2nd half, the carrick-fletcher-scholes- nani(where the fuck did he go in the 2nd half) midfield was out played by essien and co. Draw was a fair result today as we had a great 1st half and vice versa, but man… frustrating

That’s why I did this so late, after the game I was furios and just wanted to argue ad fight but I’ve calmed.

Looking at it realistically we were architects of our own downfall too, just have to bounce back and beat Liverpool

Very frustrating. Starting well but finishing poorly is a familiar theme. Those who think we get all of the decisions have once again been proved wrong.

I was confident of getting a positive result against Chelsea but we can all see how that worked out! Mainly down to some terrible calls by the ref. However I now fear the worst against Liverpool, especially without our first choice CB’s and our general trend of play away from home.

  8. We only hv d ref Atkinson 2 blame on d lose of dat game.
