Tom Cleverley scored his first goal since Boxing Day to draw Wigan level in their game against Birmingham and then set up Figueroa to to hand them all 3 points.

Birmingham had taken an early lead against Roberto Martinez’s side but Cleverley was on hand to equalise after good work by Boyce down the right flank. Then late on he found Figueroa to earn the Latics, who went into the game rooted to the bottom of the table, a valuable 3 points.

Good for him and can’t wait to have him back with us next season. I hope he thrives in these last couple months, but I couldn’t care less if Wigan get dropped and their attendance numbers suggests they feel the same.
