As the season enters it’s final stages have utilised our partnership with¬†Desportivo Brasil to sign Brazilian¬† Leao on loan having impressed coaches after training with the club earlier this month.

The 17 year old defensive midfielder who turns 18 next week will remain at the club until June 30th and will be the first of the 5 players (which also included Gladstony, Aguilar, Evangelista and Agnaldo) that came to watch our game with Bolton earlier this month to pull on colours.

Whilst the midfielder, who has been compared with winning captain Dunga, has been signed, he has not been given a squad number and will instead play for the u18s and reserves.

United have been building up it’s Brazilian base with signings like and the Da twins and the partnership with Traffic and Desportivo Brasil should further this.
