Nicky Ajose earned himself a number of suitors following his spell at Bury this past season.

The forward overcame injury to help fire Bury into League 1 with 13 goals and his performances meant a host of Championship clubs began sniffing around the 19 year old.

In April Sky Sports reported the likes of Norwich, Leeds and Middlesbrough were all interested in taking him on loan next season and now it appears Millwall, Barnsley, Doncaster and newly-promoted Peterborough are looking at him as well as Scunthorpe, who are managed by Alan Knill who brought him at Bury.

Despite the growing interest there is no rush on any decision and Ajose’s agent Peter Morrison, along with Ajose himself and Manchester United will sit down and think through any possible move as he told Sky Sports‘ website

“We’ve had a lot of interest.

“There will certainly not be a shortage of opportunities for Nicky – which is not surprising given the season he has just had.

“Both Nicky and Manchester United are aware of everything that is going on.

“All parties will be sitting down in the next few weeks to decide what is best for Nicky and a decision will be made.”

Nicky Ajose is a left footed player – something United are short of. He has an eye for goal, can dribble past players, and he has an eye for a pass to provide good assists. United should take him to USA as they did Cleverly and give him a chance to impress. He should not be farmed out again without at least a chance with United 1st team.

Well i hope we told Leeds to eat sh*t!!!!!

Good little player at his current level, look good in his final year at academy level and in the ressies. A step up to first team is a massive ask though.

Just 19 though, should be given a chance to become a first team player rather than thrust in too early then shipped out because he wasn’t ready.
