Sir Alex Ferguson’s place as the greatest manager in football history is as good as secured.
His success at Manchester United as good as guarantees this and that’s without looking at what he did at Aberdeen.
As integral a part of United’s success as the players in his spell here, his figure looms large over the club and it is he that instils that little bit extra in the players that mean we go that bit further than everyone else to be successful.
This season Man City have emerged as threats to our crown but one of their biggest celebrity fans feels we still hold the advantage thanks to Sir Alex.
Speaking to Key 103 Noel Gallagher, formerly of Oasis and now Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, spoke of Sir Alex’s influence and how it affects the rivalry between United and City’
“I gotta say, United look strong and the one thing United will always have over us is Ferguson can manage that team across the season and he’ll always manage to get the best out of those players.
“I think we’ve probably got better players than they have, but I think Ferguson will always be able to galvanise that team, no matter what.”
Even though he’s praising united, his opinion means nothing. What’s a singer got to do with football now? Just because you’re famous does not add credibility to your opinion, and being a city fan adds more to that.
We’re talking about someone in the middle of a law suit with his brother. He’s just a knob!
You’ve got to respect anyone who has reached the top of their game, he knows what it takes.
Oasis – just an island in the sun. It’s gone
To his head. Better players? Blah – it depends
On your criteria – if you have hungry to learn
Players I will take them anytime over ones
Who think they are it and have the attitude
To match. Yes, they have plenty of those.
You dobt build a club on that.
Thank you for every other excellent post. Where else may just anyone get that type of information in such a perfect manner of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am at the look for such information.
