Moura’s agent has declared his client’s move to Manchester is dead, after United refused to budge from their current offer.

Ferguson claimed that the Brazilian is a player that he is looking at in a presser yesterday, but, according to a number of newspapers, have seen a number of bids for Moura rejected by Sao Paulo who are said to be holding out for £30m for their player.

Moura is said to have his heart set on a move to so this news will come as a blow, not only to him but to fans who had hoped that the Brazilian would become the latest addition to Sir Alex’s team this summer.

Speaking to UOL, Moura’s agent Wagner Ribeiro said:

“They have reached their limit.

Moura won’t leave. He is happy at Sao Paulo. We have to forget this subject. There is no possibility he leaves now.

“Manchester made an offer, which was rejected and they won’t make another one as they have reached their limit.”
