Whilst Sir Alex Ferguson may have laid the blame at his door for United’s conceding Chelsea’s late equaliser, Nani showed yesterday that despite being out of favour his ability hasn’t diminished.

The Portuguese winger started and finished a superb move for United’s 3rd and came very close to handing United a second win at Stamford Bridge in a matter of days.

It appears Sir Alex’s post match comments may have been another nail in the coffin, but if given more chances there were positives to take away from Nani’s and it is a performance that he can look to build on.

Interesting side note, look at the movement of (I think) Chicharito around the D, penalty spot and 6 yard box. You can see he must be a nightmare to mark and he’s ready to tap in a rebound. Now look at Giggs on the right. He’s walking and standing still. He’s out of the picture for part of it but you can still see his shadow. He should have been on the corner of the 6 yard box by the time Nani scored. I guess that’s what happens when you’re 38 not 24!

I would hate for him to go but then again I am constantly frustrated by him being on the periphery of most games and then just coming up with that little piece of magic which makes me wanna beleive in him again. So really not sure what to expect from him whenever he’s on the field.

As for SAf’s comments about him…i remember the boss did the same thing to nani couple of years ago…put him in the doghouse and nani came blistering back. I so hope that its the same thing again…
