Former Manchester United midfielder Paddy Crerand was never one to shy away from a battle on field and it appears the same can be said off field.

Never one to mix his words whilst working for MUTV, Paddy was a guest on Radio 5 this morning discussing yesterday’s derby and the incident in which Rio Ferdinand was struck by a coin.

It was suggested that Ferdinand incited the problem by celebrating in front of the City fans (video has since shown he was celebrating in front of United travelling supporters) and when this was put to Paddy he furiously responded putting the presenter in his place in regards to the matter.

All Paddy wanted was some concrete evidence!
