Is Sir Alex ready to bury the hatchet with the BBC?

With drawing against QPR last night, Manchester have the opportunity to got 7 points clear tonight against Southampton at Old Trafford.

After drawing with Tottenham two Sunday’s ago, have an easier run of games coming up, with ties against bottom half opposition like¬†Southampton, Fulham, QPR, Norwich, West Ham, Reading and Sunderland.

But won’t be lulled into a false sense of security, and in his programme notes for tonight’s game has warned his team not to become complacent:

“Some might feel that presents us with an opportunity to turn the screw‚Ķ but let’s not fool ourselves into believing that we are now entering a phase against lower teams that presents us with easy pickings.

“That would be a rubbish attitude and I can’t think of an easier way to blunt our challenge.”
