davide petrucci is looking forward to his time at Peterborough

has told MUTV that he hopes to use his loan to Peterborough as a platform to the first team.

The Italian headed down to London Road in January with and has since made 2 appearances for The Posh under Sir Alex’s son Darren.

Petrucci knows that is in constant contact, wanting to know how the youngster is getting on so hopes to make a good inpression at his new club so when he returns to Old Trafford, his path into the first team is a bit easier.

Speaking to the club’s official channel, the 21 year old said:

“I like it here. It’s a new experience for me and I’m very excited. Hopefully, I can do well here.

“It’s a great thing to have, knowing that he [Sir Alex] speaks to his son every day so you want to do as well as you can every day so he can hopefully tell him something good and I can go back there and play.

“I think 80 per cent of players do this step. Unless you’re or a player like that, you have to start in the Championship and get experience. I want to do well and hopefully go back to and play one day for the first team.”
