Having remained at Old Trafford for a further week, the future of Leciester’s Jeff Schlupp is up in the air after Nigel Pearson refused to comment on whether he would be joining United on a permanent basis.
Schlupp has been on trial at United since mid January and has seen his trial period extended previously and it appears United are taking a very close look at the Germany born Ghanaian.
When asked about the 20 year old, Pearson told the media:
“I don’t know at this point. He’s still at Manchester United. It’s as it was.
“It’s an arrangement between the two clubs and Jeff is enjoying himself there. Both clubs are happy and we will see where it takes us.”
Whilst having played wide left and up front, Sky Sports claim that Schlupp has been operating as left back during his stint at United with the club perhaps looking to the future in regards to Patrice Evra.
