Phil Jones’ was forced off in the first half of tonights’s win 2-1 over Reading with an ankle injury sustained in a challenge with Jobi McAnuff. 

Whilst Sir Alex ferguson said that the injury will be assessed in the morning, Jones left Old Trafford on crutches and in a protective boot as a precaution.
