Manchester United celebrate a 20th title

Manchester United will kick off the defence of their title with a trip to Swansea before facing 3 of our title rivals in our first 6 games.

David Moyes takes charge of United, the first manager to do so since 1986, and will be looking to maintain United’s winning ways despite what could be a tough start to the campaign with a home game against Chelsea followed by Liverpool away making up our first 3 games and a clash with City away on Sept 21st.

He faces a trip back to his old stomping ground Goodison Park in April and will face Liverpool at Anfield in just his 3rd game but welcomes them to Old Trafford in March.

Importantly Moyes’ will welcome City to Old Trafford on March 1st in a game that could have huge implications on the title race. With Man City appointing Manuel Pellegrini and spending money freely, a successful title defence will involve United’s ability take points from these games.

We end the season with an away game at Southampton, so depending on how the season goes we can lift the trophy there or in our last home game against Sunderland in the penultimate game of the season!
