With Thiago’s move to Manchester United looking more and more likely, a former team mate has popped up with some words of advice for the midfielder.
Iago Falque came through Barcelona’s famous La Masia alongside Thiago before leaving for Juventus. In 2011 he joined Tottenham on loan, making the move permanent the following summer.
With his experiences in England under his belt, Falque has spoken on his friend’s potential move to Old Trafford with one particular piece of advice for the starlet.
Quoted on Mundodeportivo.com, the Spurs player said:
“I advise Thiago especially to learn English!
“When I went (to England) my English was pretty bad and adaptation is very important.”
Thankfully there is nothing to worry about as Thiago speaks English pretty well along with Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.
Falque went on to add:
“He is leaving Barcelona but heading to Manchester United, an equally big club and at United he will have more minutes.
“Thiago is an incredible player, that in one or two years will be among the best in the world. I’m happy for him, to be going to a big club.”
