Wilfried Zaha has helped Crystal Palace into the Premier League

Dion Dublin has hailed the talent of Wilfried Zaha, but believes he needs to approach his United move with the right attitude if he is to succeed.

Zaha was the last player to be signed by Sir Alex Ferguson before he retired in May and he comes to Old Trafford with a huge weight of expectation on his shoulders after leading Crystal Palace into the Premier League after successfully best navigating through the play offs.

The 20 year old is currently on course to link up with his United team mates in July, and whilst there has been rumours that he could be sent on loan, Dublin believes that he could be better suited to remain at Old Trafford if he tackles the move with the right mindframe.

Speaking to MUTV, former United man Dublin said:

“What Zaha will have to do is find his feet.

“He can’t go in all guns blazing because you can fall flat on your face against some of the best players in the world.

“Go in, respect what you are around, listen to the people who will teach you to become a better player, take it on board and he will do amazingly.

“It is not easy to settle in. You do have to go in with the right attitude in order to be accepted and to settle in quickly.

“You do get sussed out in the game of football very quickly if you go in with a chip on your shoulder and if you are bouncing about like you are the new boy on the block.

“You will get hammered in the dressing room and rightly so, especially when you come to a football club like this.

“I don’t know Zaha personally, but I have seen him play several times and I think he is an unbelievable talent and one that needs coaching. He needs to know when to do things, where to do things, how to do it, who to listen to, what to contribute to his team, but I‘m sure the manager will do that amazingly and pull him aside.

“It is not easy to settle in but it can be made easier if you go in with the right attitude.”

Loaning zaha shouldn’t even be considered cos his former team are in the premier league already and to a great extent you can agree with me that playing in the championship isn’t all that easy. For zaha to have made a remarkable form in the championship i see no need for loaning him out for any reason
