On the weekend we looked at French youngster Geoffrey Kondogbia, and how he would fit in at Old Trafford.
One thing our guest writer claimed was that he was largely in effective in the opposition’s half but perhaps he was being a tad harsh. Yes Kondogbia got just 1 goal last term but he already has 2 in France’s 4 games at the u20 World Cup with the latest coming last night.
The midfielder swept home from close range after a corner to open the scoring for his country so perhaps he is a bit more of an offensive influence than our man gave him credit for.
