Adnan Januzaj

David Moyes has made a point of reiterating that he will be giving youth a chance in his spell as United manager, claiming that he will be carrying on the traditions of the club.

Talking to talkSPORT this morning he confirmed that Wilfried Zaha would be given a chance to show his worth on the club’s preseason tour and this afternoon upon naming his tour party he has again shown that everyone will get a look in.

Whilst a number of big name players like Vidic and Valencia are not travelling, Moyes has supplemented the team by including a number of young players most notably Adnan Januzaj.

The highly touted attacker was on the cusp of the first team under Sir Alex Ferguson, and it appears that David Moyes is looking to keep him in his plans by taking him as well as Michael Keane and Jesse Lingard on tour.

Alex Buttner snapped himself and Januzaj together on the plane as the team prepared to fly to Asia for the first leg of the summer pre season tour:

Here is the rest of the team (De Gea, Van Persie and Kagawa will be joining the party later):

Goalkeepers: Anders Lindegaard, Ben Amos
Defenders: Rafael, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Patrice Evra, Alex Büttner, Fabio, Michael Keane
Midfielders: Michael Carrick, Anderson, Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs, Wilfried Zaha, Jesse Lingard, Adnan Januzaj
Strikers: Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck

I’m glad to hear that he will give youth a chance. But, is this just a way of saying there will be no significant signings in the transfer window.
With both Moyes and Woodward on the tour it’s unlikely that anyone will be signed before their return. Which means, no Thiago, no Strootman.
Maybe this was what Moyes was alluding to at the press conference, and any signings, if any will be towards the end of the window

we will end up with nobody, its hard for moyes to shake of the everton mentality, im already getting fed up & annoyed with moyes . Whilst all the other teams are signing & getting stronger moyes is just watching. with vidic (syatica), ferdinand ageing, phil jones, chris smalling & jonnie evans always injured we desperately need a center back, so what happend to the signing of garay ? its gone quiete since moyes arrived. looks like weve lost strootman through lack of interest, thiagos taking to long & im sick of hearing about baines, afterall evra is better anyway. coentrea would be the best signing from real madrid he plays defensive midfield or left back so killing 2 birds with one stone so come on moyes get your finger out, your at united now.

what a load of crap moyes is taking on tour, only 2 forwards ,has beens & first team non starters. i usually sign up to man u tv to watch the tour but wont be bothering this time. without any new signings i think we will only achieve 4th at best.
