David Moyes

David Moyes has confirmed that Manchester United’s attempts to bring in new players are progressing well.

David Moyes confirmed that United would be bringing in new faces and that the club would try to get deals done before heading off on the pre season tour of Asia and Australia.

Whilst it wasn’t possible to get this done, Moyes has confirmed that United are actively pursuing their targets and things are going well.

“There are targets we’re chasing at this moment in time.At this moment in time, we’re happy with how things are going.”

As with the manager before him, Moyes is being extremely coy in regards to who he is looking at but with Thiago Alcantara thought to be a United target, hopefully he is one of the players Moyes is talking of.

Moyes also hit back at Jose Mourinho after the Chelsea manager again complemented Wayne Rooney, saying:

“He’s a player that I like very much. Being fast and direct I like him very much, but he’s a Manchester United player.”

Mourinho made a similar statement last month but Moyes isn’t concerned with Mourinho’s sly courting:

”People are entitled to talk about good players.

“I’m sure Jose has been asked about lots of players as well. I’ll keep repeating myself: Wayne is a Manchester United player and he’ll remain that.”

    • New manager same transfer policy! says:

That won’t change, the glazers will make sure of it. Moyes is already starting to just seem like fergie mk2 but without the success! They don’t care about the fans at all.

Am sick of it we are masters of digging out best talented players and leave it to our rivals to pay for them, we fans needs to see it happerning, and if not now then when? go for midfielders and not defenders break the bank buy Thiago and forget about baines.

  5. Angu says:

Wayne’s heart is troubled because of this unmoving transfer policy, a player of his calibre will love to see his club go for world class players, if you keep moving like this it’s very difficult to attract world class players. Just my polite reminder to moyes, at utd fans needs results and needs it quickly, dont be cheated they will give you time like Fergie early days.

I think manchester united is same as before even with new manager. Looking for world class player. But lastly rival will get them with higher bid. Look at ozil, hazard, moura and so on…same result. As a fan i’m tired of that and feel ashamed to manu. Manu always sign 2nd class player (except rvp). We need different style of player. Fellaini? Baines? Forget it.just waste of money. And plz manu…sell un use player and buy a good quality player.
