Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has some words of advice for his former club Manchester United, telling the English champions to stop wasting their time with their pursuit of Cesc Fabregas.
Having had two offers rebuffed already, United are said to be preparing a third bid for the midfielder that will break the club’s transfer record.
But with Barcelona president Sandro Rosell apparently telling United that Cesc is not for sale, United’s efforts to sign the former Arsenal captain seem futile, an idea echoed by Pique in The Sun.
The red top quotes Pique as saying:
“United are wasting their time.
“It took a long time for Cesc to get his dream move back home and he won’t give it up.
“This is home. It is where his family is, and he is playing with his closest friends.
“He has told us he is happy and that he intends to stay with Barcelona.”
yes dont wasting your time
And he is absolutely correct. Next we will waste another month ‘chasing’ Gareth Bale despite it being obvious to everyone else in the universe it’s not gonna happen. We are making ourselves look like complete idiots. Most frustrating close season I can remember.
pique need make friends 4 himself as he knew the urgly performance he put up at the confederation’s cup final against Brazil… Fan all over d world were and are still disappointed wit that pig.. Up Manu!!.
It’s easy 4 Piqué to say ! …..he is not the one sitting on the bench when the 1st eleven is rolled out…Neymar…Messi…Xavi….Iniesta…Busquet…..even Song( defensive)…where does that leave Fabregas? On d bench in his dream boyhood club! He is better than that. Period!
