Cesc Fabregas

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has contacted Manchester United to inform the club that Cesc Fabregas is not for sale according to Sport.

United’s pursuit of Cesc has been one of the stories of the summer, taking numerous twists and turns. It appeared that United were ready to concede defeat in their attempts when Moyes admitted that he was unsure if United would make another bid following Barca’s dismissal of United’s 2nd bid.

As news of a 3rd bid gathered pace, on Friday things appeared brighter for United when Barca manager Gerardo Martino’s tone changed from Cesc is not for sale, to it’s up Cesc if he wants to go.

United may have been encouraged by this but the door has again been closed after Barca’s president Rosell told Sport that the move was not possible:

“Cesc wants to stay and we want the same. I’ve sent Man United’s chairman a letter to explain he’s not for sale”

Oh hum!!! Moyes, if you serious about maintaining a winning team either surpise us with a formation and winning formula that negates this snails pace of buying quality players or surprise us with signings that are world class but kept out of media hands…..my 2cents on pre season games so far…I have not seen a better man u performance in pre season vs last season! I have in other EPL contenders though!

Moyes lack the hunger of success, but i woun’t put the blame on him. I blame alex and bord of directors for putting a man who spent (10) ten years with his former club without winning even a spoon, to be the coach of the greatest club in the world. A man of small mentality what a shame the owners of united are only intrested in the money not the succsess, if not they will disaprove the idea of moyes taking over alex.
