Shinji Kagawa Japan

Shinji Kagawa continued his preparation for the new season, scoring as Japan lost 4-2 to Luis Suarez’s Uruguay.

Having been at the Confederation Cup this summer, Kagawa hasn’t spent a lot of time with United being given extra time off but has been getting games under his belt when he can as well as training with former club Cerezo Osaka.

Today’s game comes just days after Kagawa was given a late run out against Wigan in the Community Shield on Sunday. Having complained of not being fully fit at times last season, it’s imperative that Kagawa gets as many games under his belt as possible.

Kagawa was left with a simple tap in after a collision between Uruguay’s goalkeeper and a defender.

Did Suarez not score and also end up on the winning team….does this mean Liverpool are a better team than United??……why the Suarez link in the headline? are you that obsessed about Liverpool??? Maybe you are as you site is named after a man who was a legend with Liverpool and City as a player…..fair play for respecting him.

Former Manc Diego Forlan earned two goals for Uruguay too, much more to their team than Suarez..
