Juan Mata

Jose Mourinho has quickly moved to dismiss Manchester United’s interest in Juan Mata, claiming the Spaniard is not for sale.

It’s been reported that Manchester United enquired about the 25 year old’s availability and he was previously been linked with United earlier in the summer, as part of a deal that would have seen Wayne Rooney going in the opposite direction.

But speaking at his press conference this afternoon, Chelsea manager Mourinho quickly quashed any notion that Mata may join United saying:

“No speculation, no speculation. He’s a player we all like, he’s a player we all want to keep, not a player we want to lose.”

Jose now u know how it feels when it is your own player. If u want Rooney, what says we can have Mata.

  4. martin says:

Of course Mour says he isn’t for sale. He doesn’t want to upset Mata. Until he gets the offer of a Rooney/Mata swap then Mata will remain as not for sale
